Karachi (HRNW)– A power outage at the KK-3 pumping station has affected water supply in several areas of the city. According to the Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation, the cable fault could not be cleared even after 13 hours, causing water shortage in several areas including North Nazimabad, Gulberg, New Karachi, Saddar and Clifton.

This is the second time that the pumping station has suffered a power outage in the past week, resulting in a daily water shortage of 335 million gallons.
