Pakistan Railways to Restore Bulleh Shah Passenger Train from July 17

Lahore (HRNW)- In a move aimed at facilitating passengers, Pakistan Railways has announced the restoration of the Bulleh Shah Passenger Train service between Lahore and Pakpattan via Kasur from July 17, 2026.

According to the railway administration, Train No. 257 Up Bulleh Shah Passenger will depart from Pakpattan at 5:00 a.m. and arrive in Lahore at 10:50 a.m., passing through Kot Lakhpat, Jaya Bagha, Raiwind, and Kasur.

Meanwhile, Train No. 258 Down Bulleh Shah Passenger will depart from Lahore at 4:00 p.m. and reach Pakpattan Railway Station at 9:30 p.m.

Officials said the passenger train will comprise five economy-class coaches and one power van, providing improved travel facilities for commuters on the route.
