Karachi (HRNW)- A state-of-the-art NADRA Mega Center has been inaugurated in Surjani Town, relieving millions of residents of Manghopir and surrounding areas from the burden of traveling long distances to obtain identity documents. The Governor of Sindh was the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony. The event was attended by Pakistan Peoples Party Senator Masroor Ahsan, Town Chairman Manghopir Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi, Vice Chairman Rana Muhammad Arif, Chairman Union Committee 07 Umeed Ali Qazi, Vice Chairman Hafiz Syed Imran Ali, along with many local dignitaries and prominent social and political figures. On this auspicious occasion, Town Chairman Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi presented the traditional Sindhi Ajrak to the Governor of Sindh and Senator Masroor Ahsan as a token of cultural appreciation.
Speaking to the media after the inauguration, Town Chairman Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi stated that the establishment of the NADRA Mega Center in Surjani Town is a historic gift for the people of Manghopir Town and the entire District West. He said, “We are fulfilling the promises we made to the public one by one. Today, our long-held dream has become a reality, and residents will no longer have to travel for hours for ID cards or other documents. Our goal is to bring public services to the citizens’ doorsteps and ensure the resolution of their issues.”
Addressing media representatives, Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi added, “This Mega Center is not just an office but a hub of public convenience, where citizens will have access to all modern NADRA services—including the issuance of new ID cards, renewals, data correction, B-Forms, Family Registration Certificates (FRC), and all other legal documentation—in a fast, transparent, and easy manner. This center will save both the citizens’ valuable time and resources.”
Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi further remarked that the journey of serving the people of Manghopir Town has been ongoing for years and is now being accelerated. He stated, “A special help desk has been established at this center to ensure that no citizen faces any difficulty. From Smart Cards to NICOP, POC, and other legal modifications, all facilities will be available under one roof. We are committed to our vision and will continue to bring more public welfare projects to Manghopir Town in the future.”
It should be noted that the latest technology and systems have been installed in this Mega Center to ensure that all matters related to NADRA are handled with efficiency and speed. The participants of the ceremony and local residents appreciated the efforts of Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi for this magnificent initiative, terming it a revolutionary step for District West.
