China Bans Exports to 10 US Military Companies Amid Growing Trade Tensions

Beijing (HRNW)- China has announced a ban on exports to 10 American military companies in response to recent measures taken by the United States against Chinese firms, further escalating trade and strategic tensions between the two global powers.

According to the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, the export of dual-use goods—products that can be utilized for both civilian and military purposes—to the affected US companies has been suspended with immediate effect.

In an official statement, the Ministry said the decision was taken to safeguard China’s national security and protect its national interests.

Chinese officials stated that the United States recently imposed what Beijing described as unfair restrictions on Chinese businesses and added several firms to lists alleging links with Chinese military institutions. China says its latest action is a direct response to those measures.

According to the Chinese government, Washington’s classification of certain Chinese companies as being involved in military activities is not based on facts and has negatively impacted economic and trade relations between the two countries.

The latest move highlights the continuing economic and geopolitical rivalry between China and the United States, with both sides taking measures that could further affect bilateral trade and international markets.
