Damascus (HRNW)- Kuwait has strongly condemned an Israeli drone attack on a civilian vehicle near a village southwest of the Syrian capital, Damascus, which reportedly injured several civilians.
The Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry called on the international community and the UN Security Council to take responsibility for stopping repeated Israeli military actions on Syrian territory and urged effective measures to prevent further escalation.
Israel defended the strike, saying it targeted “terrorists” and was carried out in response to an immediate threat to Israeli soldiers. The incident marks the second reported Israeli attack in Syria within a week, raising concerns over escalating regional tensions.
