Karachi (HRNW)- Sindh government has announced to provide free Pink EV Scooties in Hyderabad after Karachi as part of its women empowerment project.
The Sindh Mass Transit Authority board meeting chaired by Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon also decided to purchase 500 more Pink EV Scooties for women.
Addressing the meeting, Sharjeel Memon said that the Pink EV Scooty scheme has proven to be a revolutionary project that has played an important role in women empowerment.
He said that just one thousand Scooties in a year have created a positive change in the society, and now this project is being extended to Hyderabad.
According to the announcement, Pink EV Scooties will be distributed to women in Hyderabad on May 22, which will further improve the travel convenience and independence of women.
