Massive Corruption Scandal Uncovered at Mirpurkhas Board: 2,539 Student Certificates Cancelled

MIRPURKHAS (HRNW): A major academic fraud scandal has been unearthed at the Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (BISE) Mirpurkhas, leading to the immediate cancellation of certificates for 2,539 Matric and Intermediate students. The irregularities were detected in records spanning from 2021 to 2025.

Findings of the Investigation

According to the Chairman of the Board, Colonel (R) Dr. Syed Muhammad Alamdar Raza, a high-level probe revealed a deep-rooted nexus between board officials, lower-level employees, and various educational institutions.

  • Methods of Forgery: The investigation confirmed cases of fraudulent enrollment, illegal registrations, and the systematic tampering of mark sheets to artificially inflate grades.

  • Institutional Collusion: Several private and public educational institutes were found to be complicit in facilitating these fake credentials for students in exchange for illegal gratifications.

Immediate Administrative Actions

Following the exposure of the scandal, the Board has moved swiftly to rectify the academic record:

  1. Certificate Revocation: All 2,539 identified certificates have been officially declared null and void.

  2. 30-Day Deadline: Affected students have been directed to appear before the Board within 30 days with their original documentation for verification.

  3. Withdrawal of Benefits: All institutions have been ordered to immediately withdraw any facilities, admissions, or benefits previously granted to these students on the basis of the forged documents.

The Chairman emphasized that strict departmental and legal action will be initiated against the board staff involved in this breach of trust to ensure the future sanctity of the examination system.
