Islamabad (HRNW)- The federal government has developed a mobile application aimed at providing petrol subsidies to low-income individuals, enabling them to purchase fuel at reduced prices. According to sources, the app—developed by the Ministry of Information Technology—is currently in its testing phase and will be launched for public use after completion.
The subsidy will specifically target users of two- and three-wheelers, while fluctuations in global fuel prices will continue to be passed on to other consumers. The initiative is expected to provide relief to economically vulnerable segments amid rising fuel costs.
