Visakhapatnam (HRNW)- A six-year-old student died in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, after he was allegedly slapped by a female teacher at a school for not completing his homework.
According to local media reports, the child reportedly collapsed in the classroom shortly after the alleged incident. He was rushed to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
CCTV footage has reportedly emerged showing the teacher allegedly slapping the child. Police have launched an investigation, while the exact cause of death will be determined following the postmortem and further medical examination.
The incident has sparked concerns over child safety and alleged abuse in educational institutions.
