Islamabad (HRNW)- Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent congratulatory messages to President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on the occasion of Pakistan’s Independence Day.
In his message, Putin congratulated the people of Pakistan and expressed his best wishes for peace, prosperity and progress. He said that relations between Russia and Pakistan are developing successfully, with both countries advancing cooperation in various fields.
The Russian president said the two countries continue to cooperate in political, trade, economic, humanitarian and other areas, while also coordinating on important regional and global issues. He emphasized that such cooperation is important for maintaining stability in the region.
Putin reiterated Russia’s determination to further strengthen all areas of bilateral partnership in the mutual interests of both countries and their peoples.
He said continued cooperation would contribute to strengthening the long-term relationship between Russia and Pakistan.
