Four Escaped Prisoners Recaptured After Prison Van Escape Near Kahuta

Rawalpindi (HRNW) – Four of the 14 prisoners who escaped from a prison van in the Kahuta area of Rawalpindi have been recaptured by the Punjab Highway Patrol (Rawalpindi Region), according to police officials.

The suspects were apprehended during a coordinated operation and subsequently handed over to the Sihala Police for further legal proceedings.

According to official sources, the four arrested individuals were facing murder charges under Section 302 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).

Police stated that the Punjab Highway Patrol successfully tracked and arrested the fugitives through a prompt and professional operation before transferring them into the custody of the relevant police authorities.

The escape of 14 prisoners from the prison van has prompted a broader search operation, with law enforcement agencies continuing efforts to locate and arrest the remaining escapees.
