Assam (HRNW)- The global research organization has called for global sanctions against the BJP leadership for its alleged atrocities against minorities in India. According to media reports, Raqeeb Hameed, executive director of the Center for the Study of Organized Hate, said that the US Commission on International Religious Freedom should take strict action against Indian extremist Hindu leaders and groups.

Atrocities and violence against minorities are reportedly carried out by Hindu extremist organizations, RSS, Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad. The report also mentioned that in Assam, India, more than 22,000 Muslim homes were destroyed and millions of people were displaced from their homes from 2021 to 2026. The developments are being widely discussed in international circles in the context of minority rights and human rights concerns.
