UAE Restricts Eid-ul-Fitr Prayers to Mosques Only, Bans Open-Air Gatherings

Abu Dhabi (HRNW)- Authorities in the United Arab Emirates have announced that Eid al-Fitr prayers will be offered only inside mosques, with open-air prayer gatherings not permitted this year.

According to Emirati officials, the decision has been taken as a precautionary measure to ensure public safety. Authorities confirmed that comprehensive arrangements have been completed to facilitate Eid prayers in mosques across the country.

Officials have urged citizens and residents to strictly follow the guidelines issued by relevant institutions and to offer prayers only at designated locations.

Meanwhile, moon-sighting meetings are being held today in both Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, after which the official date of Eid al-Fitr will be announced.
