603 People Killed in Traffic Accidents in Karachi This Year

KARACHI (HRNW) — At least 603 people have been killed and 7,467 injured in various traffic accidents across Karachi this year, according to rescue authorities.

According to figures released by rescue officials, those killed in traffic accidents include 463 men, 73 women and 67 children.

Thousands Injured in Road Accidents

Rescue authorities said 7,467 people have been injured in different traffic accidents across the city this year.

The injured include 5,649 men, 1,322 women and 496 children, highlighting the significant impact of road accidents on residents of different age groups.

Heavy Vehicles Linked to Fatalities

According to rescue officials, 184 people have died in accidents involving heavy vehicles during the year.

The figures show that 12 people were killed in dumper-related crashes, 84 in trailer collisions and 46 in accidents involving water tankers.
