Karachi: Malir Investigation Police Recover Two Missing Women, Arrest Two Suspects

KARACHI (HRNW) — Under the supervision of the SSP Investigation Malir, the East Zone Investigation Wing Malir has carried out operations in several cases, recovering two missing or allegedly abducted women and arresting two suspects.

According to the police spokesperson, the investigation team of Steel Town Police Station recovered 14-year-old Shaheena, daughter of Muhammad Hassan, in connection with FIR No. 919/26, registered under relevant provisions of the Pakistan Penal Code.

Missing Woman Recovered, Suspect Arrested

According to police, the investigation team of Malir Cantt Police Station recovered Sania, daughter of Abdul Hakeem, in connection with FIR No. 386/26, registered under Section 365-B PPC.

Police said that Abdul Ahad, son of Muhammad Arshad, allegedly involved in the case, was also arrested.

In a separate operation, the Malir Cantt investigation team arrested Gulnaz, wife of Yawar Hussain, who was reportedly wanted as an absconding suspect in FIR No. 226/26, registered under Section 489-F PPC.

Human Rights and Protection of Women and Children

The recovery of missing persons, particularly a 14-year-old girl, is an important matter concerning the protection of fundamental rights and personal safety. Children must be protected from abduction, exploitation, violence and unlawful confinement, while affected individuals should receive appropriate protection and support.

Investigations into such cases should be conducted transparently and impartially. At the same time, the legal rights of arrested suspects, including due process, access to legal representation and the right to a fair trial, must be fully respected.

Further Investigation Underway

According to police, the recovered individuals will be presented before the competent court, while legal proceedings against the arrested suspects are continuing.
