Myrtle Beach (HRNW)- A protester was removed by security personnel after interrupting US President Donald Trump’s campaign rally in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, while Trump’s sarcastic remarks about the incident sparked debate on social media.
According to the report, Trump was addressing a rally supporting Senate candidate Darlene Graham when a person in the crowd stood up, shouted slogans and criticized the president’s policies. Police and convention center staff quickly intervened and escorted the protester from the venue.
The protester was reportedly wearing a black shirt displaying a strong slogan against child sexual abusers. Trump briefly paused his speech, watched as security personnel removed the protester and then made a sarcastic comment, saying the man was “going home to his mother” and suggesting that his mother would reprimand him because she supported Trump.
