Gaza (HRNW): According to a statement attributed to Hamas, the organization has announced plans to transfer administrative authority in Gaza to a technocratic committee.
The statement said that day-to-day administrative responsibilities would be handed over to the committee, which would oversee the management of public affairs and the civil administrative structure in the territory.
According to the same statement, Hamas would continue to serve in a caretaker capacity until the technocratic committee fully assumes its responsibilities, with the stated aim of ensuring continuity in governance and preventing disruption to public services.
The organization said the move was intended to promote improved governance, institutional stability, and the public interest in Gaza.
