ISLAMABAD (HRNW) – Allegations have surfaced suggesting that Pakistan’s diplomatic role in the Iran–US conflict has triggered a coordinated propaganda campaign by multiple actors, including claims involving media outlets and foreign governments.
According to the narrative presented, Pakistan’s principled diplomacy in the US-Iran tensions and its previous role in regional developments has reportedly unsettled certain geopolitical alignments, particularly India and Israel, which are said to have reservations over Pakistan’s growing diplomatic influence and its stance on Palestine.
The claims further suggest that organized media campaigns have been launched internationally to question Pakistan’s role in regional mediation efforts.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been cited in these claims as having made allegations in US media regarding so-called “bot farms” allegedly operating from Pakistan to influence online narratives about Israel, as well as comments about Pakistan’s impact on US-Israel relations through interviews on international platforms.
The narrative also references reports by US broadcaster CBS and British broadcaster BBC, alleging that Pakistan was linked to certain disputed interpretations of regional events, including Iranian aircraft movements and military actions in Afghanistan. Pakistan’s Foreign Office has reportedly rejected such claims, calling them speculative and clarifying that Iranian aircraft movements were limited to diplomatic and logistical purposes.
The statement also criticizes alleged misreporting in international media and suggests that narratives around regional conflicts are being shaped through competing geopolitical interests.
Additionally, the situation is linked to broader regional tensions involving Afghanistan, where militant activity is said to have increased, further complicating Pakistan’s security environment.
Experts cited in the narrative claim that Pakistan’s growing diplomatic role has caused concern among regional powers, while others argue that competing international alliances are increasingly influencing media coverage of South Asian and Middle Eastern affairs.
