Karachi (HRNW)- Rizwan Ahmed Fikri, Information Secretary of “Meri Pahaan Pakistan” Party, attended the Birds and Cattle Show held at Expo Center Karachi as a special guest. On this occasion, he also attended a special invitation given by a local farmhouse.
In his address, Rizwan Ahmed Fikri said that this magnificent exhibition held at Expo Karachi is not only a practical manifestation of the development of Pakistan’s agricultural and livestock sector but is also playing an important role in the stability of the country’s economy. He said that events like Birds and Cattle Show provide an effective platform to farmers, breeders and investors where modern methods, research and business opportunities are promoted.
He said that Pakistan is an agricultural country and the livestock sector is the backbone of the economy. If this sector is developed on modern lines, innumerable employment opportunities can be created and a significant increase in the country’s exports is also possible.
Rizwan Ahmed Fikri further said that such exhibitions are attracting youth towards the agriculture and livestock sector, which is a welcome development. He demanded from the government and the concerned institutions to ensure provision of facilities, training and easy loans to the farmers so that this sector can develop further.
On this occasion, he congratulated all the organizers and participants of the exhibition on behalf of former Governor Sindh and the spirit of “Meri Pachan Pakistan” Dr. Ishratul Ibad Khan and paid tribute to the participants of the Birds and Cattle Show in wonderful words. He also appreciated the organization of this excellent activity by Karachi Heights and termed it as a positive identity of the city.
Later, while talking to the media, Rizwan Ahmed Fikri thanked the Central Committee and various political and social parties on his behalf for supporting Dr. Ishratul Ibad Khan and termed this cooperation as a positive development in the country’s politics.
Finally, he thanked the organizers and hosts and expressed his determination that “Meri Pahaan Pakistan” will continue to play a vital role in agricultural development, farmer welfare, and the improvement of the livestock sector.
