Dr. Ishratul Ibad Khan Vows Women Empowerment, Announces Greater Political Role Ahead of 2027 Elections

Karachi (HRNW)- Former Sindh Governor and patron of “Meri Pachan Pakistan,” Dr. Ishratul Ibad Khan, has emphasized the decisive role of women in today’s era while addressing a large women’s gathering in Karachi, pledging to ensure their empowerment and rightful place in society.

In his speech, he paid tribute to iconic figures including Bi Amma, Fatima Jinnah, and Benazir Bhutto, stating that their contributions created a golden chapter in Pakistan’s history and serve as inspiration for today’s women.

Dr. Ibad said that his party is taking practical steps to bring women forward in politics, education, economy, and social sectors, stressing that women will be treated as a frontline force in national development.

He highlighted the importance of equal opportunities and protection for women, adding that a balanced and inclusive society is essential for progress.

During the address, he also praised national leadership and called for stronger organizational efforts, directing party officials to form women’s committees at the town level and ensure their active participation in the political process.

He announced that women will be given significant opportunities in the 2027 local government elections, along with a broader political strategy to be unveiled soon.

Dr. Ibad further urged nationwide organizational expansion through continuous engagement and meetings, emphasizing unity to bring positive change in the country’s political landscape.

The event concluded with recognition of a successful women’s convention held in Mansehra, reflecting growing participation of women across Pakistan.
