Karachi (HRNW) – A judicial magistrate’s court in South Karachi has received the final charge sheet (challan) submitted by police in the murder case registered at Baghdadi Police Station against accused Anmol alias Pinky.
According to the police challan, the murder section initially included in the case has been changed to culpable homicide, following the findings of the investigation.
The police stated that, in light of the chemical examination report from the University of Karachi, the murder charge was removed. The challan mentions that the chemical report indicated the cause of death was related to intoxication.
According to the final report submitted before the court, the identity of the deceased has still not been established. Police further stated that identification through DNA testing is also not possible due to the absence of the required samples.
The police have completed the investigation and submitted the final challan before the court for further legal proceedings.
