Karachi (HRNW) – The Sindh High Court has issued notices to concerned parties on a petition seeking the return of examination answer sheets and other related material of the Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC), directing them to submit their responses by 5 August.
During the hearing, the SPSC counsel informed the court that the Sindh High Court had earlier issued orders suspending the examination results of the commission. The counsel stated that the court had also directed the Vice Chancellor of Sukkur IBA to re-evaluate the answer sheets of the petitioners within one month.
SPSC’s lawyer further argued that the Federal Constitutional Court had suspended the interim orders issued by the Sindh High Court. However, the examination material remains in the custody of the Nazir of the Sindh High Court, which is affecting the routine functioning of the Sindh Public Service Commission.
Counsel Kanwar Raj Ali Wahid informed the court that, under previous judicial orders, all examination material had been secured with the Nazir of the Sindh High Court.
The SPSC counsel requested that all examination material be returned to the commission so that its administrative and examination-related activities could continue smoothly.
After hearing the arguments, the Sindh High Court issued notices to the relevant parties and sought their replies before proceeding further.
