8-Month Pregnant Woman Found Dead in Quetta, Family Alleges Murder; Investigation Underway

Quetta (HRNW) – A tragic incident was reported in Baba Farid Colony, Airport Road area of Quetta, where the body of an 8-month pregnant woman, Warda Dawood, was found at her residence, while her 8-year-old son was found injured.

According to police, officials reached the scene immediately after receiving information, took the woman’s body into custody, and initiated the necessary legal procedures. The injured child was shifted to the Trauma Centre of Civil Hospital Quetta for medical treatment.

Police stated that all aspects of the incident are being examined, evidence is being collected from the crime scene, and further investigations are underway to determine the facts.

The deceased woman’s sisters said they were informed about the incident in the morning and immediately reached the location. They claimed that the post-mortem report indicated that Warda Dawood did not die by suicide but was allegedly murdered.

The family has demanded a transparent and impartial investigation into the incident, identification of those responsible, and legal action against the perpetrators.
