US DOJ Report Links India’s Israel Policy and Defense Deals to Jeffrey Epstein’s Secret Network

Washington/New Delhi (HRNW)- According to a US Department of Justice investigation, India’s strategic tilt towards Israel under Prime Minister Narendra Modi was reportedly influenced by a secret and corrupt network linked to convicted criminal Jeffrey Epstein.

A report by the New York Times claims that Epstein advised on India’s Israel policy, including $2 billion in arms and intelligence purchases to gain favor with the White House. Epstein allegedly used his connections to present himself as a close source to the White House and provided confidential information on Donald Trump’s cabinet appointments and foreign policy.

Billionaire Anil Ambani allegedly accessed key US political circles through Epstein, meeting influential figures including Steve Bannon, Tom Barrack, and Jared Kushner. Epstein also organized private dinners and used institutions like the Atlantic Council and the International Peace Institute to enhance Ambani’s global reputation.

The report suggests that the 2017 policy tilt towards Israel, the Rafale aircraft deal, and various defense projects were shaped in this context, with leaked emails indicating the use of secret networks to influence foreign policy. Following the March 2026 revelations, there were reports of frozen assets for Ambani and a global backlash.

The investigation also notes that Epstein’s network and prior allegations of sexual abuse loomed large in the background of the affair.
