Lahore (HRNW)- Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has convened an emergency meeting of the party’s Central Majlis-e-Shura to review the country’s political, economic and public issues.
According to the party spokesperson, the two-day meeting will begin on Saturday at Mansoorah, Lahore, under the chairmanship of Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman. The participants will conduct a detailed review of the overall political and economic situation in the country.
The meeting will also discuss the current situation in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, the challenges facing Balochistan, rising inflation and the difficulties being faced by the public.
According to party sources, important decisions are also expected regarding the recent increases in the prices of petrol, electricity and natural gas, along with the party’s future strategy on these issues.
