Gold Prices Drop Sharply in Pakistan, Per Tola Rate Falls by Rs10,400

Karachi (HRNW)- A significant decline in gold prices was recorded in both the global and local bullion markets on Tuesday, bringing notable relief to buyers and investors.

According to market reports, the price of gold per ounce in the international bullion market stood at $4,098, reflecting changes in global trading trends.

In Pakistan’s local bullion markets, the price of 24-carat gold per tola decreased by Rs10,400, bringing the new rate down to Rs432,236 per tola. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs9,360, settling at Rs368,985.

Silver prices also witnessed a downward trend in the local market. The price of silver per tola declined by Rs487 to Rs6,664, while the price of 10 grams of silver decreased by Rs438, reaching Rs5,641.

Market analysts attribute the fluctuations in local bullion prices to changes in international gold rates and currency market movements. Investors and traders are closely monitoring global economic developments for further price trends.
