Netanyahu Says War With Iran Not Over, Uranium Removal Needed; Trump Claims 70% Targets Hit

Jerusalem/Washington (HRNW) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that the war against Iran is not yet over, adding that Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile must be seized before any conclusion to the conflict.

According to a foreign news agency report, Netanyahu said that Iran’s nuclear material and uranium stockpile will have to be removed, and its facilities deactivated before considering an end to the ongoing US-Israeli military actions against Iran.

He emphasized that the situation remains unresolved due to the presence of nuclear material, adding that uranium facilities inside Iran still need to be neutralized. Netanyahu further stated that such material should be “taken out,” claiming that US President Donald Trump shares a similar position.

The Israeli Prime Minister also said that he was not referring to military operations in detail, but noted that President Trump had expressed willingness to act on the matter.

On the other hand, US President Donald Trump, in an interview, said it could take up to two weeks to strike remaining targets in Iran. He claimed that Iran has already been “militarily defeated,” although they may not fully recognize it.

Trump further stated that US forces have already destroyed around 70% of intended targets and still have additional targets that could be struck if necessary. He added that further action would represent the final stage if required.
