Iranian President Highlights Strait of Hormuz as Symbol of National Strength, Blames US and Israel for Regional Tensions

Tehran (HRNW)- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian described the Strait of Hormuz as a symbol of Iran’s resistance, sovereignty, and strength during his speech on the occasion of the Persian Gulf National Day. He said that this strategically important waterway represents Iran’s national dignity and territorial authority.

The Iranian president blamed the United States and Israel for creating insecurity and tension in the region, stating that both countries are responsible for any instability in the Strait of Hormuz. He added that Iran’s decision to prevent foreign intervention in the region is justified and that the country will take all necessary measures to protect its land and maritime borders.

Pezeshkian emphasized that maintaining peace and stability in such a sensitive region is in the interest of all countries, warning that those who disrupt regional stability will have to face consequences.
