Doha (HRNW) – A Qatari government spokesman has clarified that Qatar is not participating in the ongoing mediation between Iran and the United States, stating that the country’s focus remains on defending its national interests. However, the spokesman emphasized Qatar’s full support for Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts, noting that Islamabad’s mediation could help bring peace to the region. He also confirmed that bilateral contacts between Qatar and Pakistan are continuing amid the tense regional situation.
