Abu Dhabi (HRNW) – The United Arab Emirates has witnessed a significant surge in fuel prices in April, with diesel prices rising by over 70% and petrol prices increasing by nearly 30%, according to media reports. Diesel prices jumped from Dh2.72 to Dh4.69 per liter, while Super 98, Special 95, and E-Plus 91 petrol prices also saw sharp increases. Experts say the spike is due to rising global oil prices and geopolitical tensions related to the ongoing Iran conflict, impacting transportation costs and inflation across the region.
