Islamabad (HRNW)- Senator Nasir Butt has said that the Supreme Court’s order regarding the medical examination of PTI founder Imran Khan was fully implemented and that doctors declared him fit following his examination.
Speaking to the media, Nasir Butt criticized what he described as political controversy surrounding the matter and said the doctors had found Imran Khan to be in good health.
Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said Imran Khan’s sister, Uzma Khan, was present throughout the medical examination and diagnostic procedures. He said an expert medical board declared Imran Khan’s condition stable after completing the examination.
According to Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Imran Khan was taken to PIMS instead of Shifa International Hospital because of the unusual crowd and security situation outside the hospital. He said the PTI founder underwent detailed medical examinations, diagnosis and treatment under the supervision of medical experts and all necessary procedures were completed.
The minister urged political parties to act responsibly and said a sensitive issue such as health should not be turned into a political controversy or subjected to unnecessary sensationalism.
