KARACHI (HRNW) — A traditional donkey cart race was held at Native Jetty in Karachi as part of Independence Day celebrations, with “Koel” winning the competition and securing first place.
“Cheema Wala” finished second, while “Lal Badshah” secured third position. According to the Commissioner Karachi spokesperson, 40 donkey cart owners from across the city participated in the race.
The race began at the Native Jetty Bridge and concluded at the Commissioner’s Office.
Commissioner Karachi Hassan Naqvi, Additional IG Karachi Azad Khan and DIG Traffic Pir Muhammad Shah, along with other officials, attended the event.
