Tehran (HRNW)- Iran has clarified that there are currently no plans to grant International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors access to nuclear facilities that were targeted during the recent conflict.
Speaking to the media, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghai said that Tehran does not intend to allow inspections of nuclear sites that were attacked during the recent war.
Commenting on the ongoing diplomatic process between the United States and Iran, Baghai stated that any future understanding between the two countries must be based on mutual respect, realism, and equal treatment. He emphasized that successful negotiations require Washington to avoid threats and what he described as arrogant rhetoric.
The Iranian spokesman also addressed the issue of Iran’s frozen financial assets, stating that Tehran will have full authority over the use of any funds returned to the country. According to him, Iran must be free to make independent decisions regarding the management and allocation of these resources.
Political analysts believe Iran’s latest position reflects its determination to maintain sovereignty over its defense and nuclear policies while resisting external pressure during ongoing diplomatic negotiations.
