Karachi (HRNW)– Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and Girls stressed the importance of this year’s global theme “Invest in Ending Violence against Women and Girls”.
He said that the Sindh government has introduced several laws for the protection of women, including the Domestic Violence Act, Child Marriage Restraint Act, and Women Agricultural Workers Act. The Chief Minister emphasized that only a society free from violence can lay the foundation for development and justice.
