Tehran (HRNW)- Mohammad Reza Naqdi, an advisor to the commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, has claimed that Iran has gained significant military experience during its ongoing conflict with the United States and that US military capabilities appeared weaker than Tehran had previously estimated.
In an interview with the American broadcaster PBS, Naqdi said Iran had so far been successful in the war and remained determined to continue what he described as its progress.
He claimed that the longer the conflict continues, the more military experience Iran will gain. According to Naqdi, Iran had not previously experienced such a direct confrontation with the United States, giving its forces an opportunity to study US military strategies and capabilities.
The Iranian official said Iranian forces had learned extensively from battlefield developments over the past five months. He further claimed that Iran had observed weaknesses in the US military that were not previously apparent to Tehran.
Naqdi said the experience gained during the conflict would be important for Iran’s future military planning. He claimed Iranian forces had both tested their own capabilities and studied US tactics and operational methods.
The Revolutionary Guards advisor also described Iran as a winner in the current conflict and said Tehran would continue its efforts to achieve further success.
However, the statements represent the position of the Iranian official, and there was no immediate response from US military authorities or officials regarding his claims.
The remarks come amid continued military tensions between Iran and the United States, with the security situation in the Middle East remaining highly sensitive. The military capabilities, strategies and future actions of both countries continue to receive close international attention.
