Double Murder in Kachhi Over Alleged ‘Honor’ Accusation, 60-Year-Old Mother and Man Killed; Suspect Flees

Bolan (HRNW) — A tragic double murder reportedly took place in the village of Airi, Kachhi, Bolan, where a man allegedly killed his 60-year-old mother and another man over an alleged accusation of “blackkari” (honour-related allegation) before fleeing the scene.

According to police, the suspect allegedly strangled his mother to death and shot the other man, identified as her alleged acquaintance.

Following the incident, local police from Haji Shehar and Balanari took both bodies into custody and shifted them to the District Headquarters Hospital, Sibi, for post-mortem examinations.

Police identified the deceased woman as 60-year-old Mst. (S) Bhand, while the deceased man was identified as 60-year-old Mureed Khan Chandio.

Police have initiated legal proceedings and the process of registering a case. Raids are reportedly being conducted at various locations to arrest the fleeing suspect.

Authorities said further investigation into the incident is underway.
