New Delhi (HRNW)- A protest movement that initially gained attention on social media is drawing increasing participation in India’s capital, with demonstrators continuing a sit-in and calling for action over examination irregularities and youth unemployment.
According to reports, members and supporters of the Kakroch Janata Party (CJP) have announced that they will continue their protest in New Delhi until their demands are addressed. Dozens of protesters reportedly spent the night on streets and sidewalks despite the intense summer heat.
The movement’s founder, Abhijit Deepke, has shifted the campaign from online platforms to public demonstrations, focusing on issues affecting young people. Protesters have raised concerns about alleged examination paper leaks, recruitment delays, and rising unemployment.
Reports indicate that Deepke has also appealed to farmers’ groups for support, arguing that students had backed farmers during previous protest movements and that solidarity is now needed for youth-related issues.
Political analysts note that growing frustration among sections of India’s youth over employment and education-related concerns has fueled the movement. Observers are closely watching whether the demonstrations develop into a broader political campaign in the coming months.
The protests have intensified debate over education policies, recruitment systems, and economic opportunities for young people across India.
