Bangkok (HRNW): Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health has clarified that five teachers were killed in a shooting incident at a school on the outskirts of Bangkok.
According to Thai authorities, the alleged attacker was a 14-year-old ninth-grade student who reportedly targeted his teachers after allegedly shooting his grandparents. The suspected attacker was also found dead following the incident.
Initial reports from different authorities contained conflicting figures regarding the number of fatalities. However, Health Minister Pattana Promphat has stated that five teachers were killed at the school.
This brings the reported total number of deaths to eight, including the five teachers, the suspected attacker’s grandparents, and the suspected attacker himself.
