Karachi (HRNW): The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has announced the results of the Intermediate Part-II Arts Regular Group Annual Examinations 2026.
Announcing the results, BIEK Chairman Fakir Muhammad Lakho said that Inshra Bint Muhammad Taufiq, Roll No. 58093, a student of Iqra Huffaz Girls Science College, Block B, North Nazimabad, secured first position with 926 marks out of 1,100, earning an A-1 grade.
Aaqib Razzaq, son of Abdul Razzaq, Roll No. 43415, from Government Degree College Konkar Village, Gadap, secured second position with 919 marks, also obtaining an A-1 grade.
The third position was secured by Humaira Bint Muhammad Shakir Lakhani, Roll No. 58097, of Iqra Huffaz Girls Science College, with 918 marks and an A-1 grade.
Chairman Fakir Muhammad Lakho said that the second position achieved by a student of Government Degree College Konkar Village, Gadap, reflects the hard work, dedication, and guidance of the student, teachers, and college principal. He added that the strong performance of students from government educational institutions demonstrates continued improvement in the quality of education in Sindh.
BIEK Controller of Examinations Zarina Rashid said that 10,459 candidates registered for the Arts Regular Group examinations, while 10,002 candidates appeared. A total of 4,526 candidates passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 45.25%.
According to the results, 20 candidates secured A-1 grade, 274 obtained A grade, 762 obtained B grade, 1,647 obtained C grade, 1,659 obtained D grade, and 164 obtained E grade. Two candidates were also declared successful under the pass category.
The results have been uploaded to the official BIEK website. Candidates can also check their results through the Board’s official Android application, available on the Google Play Store by searching for “BIEK.”
