Traffic Police Issue Advisory Ahead of Jamaat-e-Islami Protests and Sit-Ins

Karachi (HRNW)- The Karachi Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory regarding the Jamaat-e-Islami protests and sit-ins scheduled to take place in different parts of the city.

According to a statement issued by the traffic police, a political party is expected to stage protests and sit-ins at various locations across Karachi. The main rally will begin from Mazar-e-Quaid, while protest activities are also anticipated in several districts of the city.

The advisory states that traffic flow is likely to be affected, with possible slow movement, temporary diversions, and partial road closures on several major roads, including Mazar-e-Quaid, Numaish, Saddar, Shahrah-e-Faisal, Shahrah-e-Pakistan, UP Mor, Power House Chowrangi, Defence, Sea View, Shahrah-e-Orangi, Hub River Road, Super Highway, and the National Highway.

The traffic police have advised citizens to avoid unnecessary travel to the affected areas, use alternative routes where possible, and allow extra travel time for their journeys.

Motorists have also been requested to follow the instructions of traffic police personnel and cooperate in ensuring that ambulances and other emergency response vehicles are given priority passage.
