Karachi (HRNW): Sindh Minister for Home and Law Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar has strongly rejected allegations made by Miftah Ismail regarding President Asif Ali Zardari’s alleged involvement in recruitment within the Sindh Police.
Responding to Miftah Ismail’s statement, Lanjar said that President Asif Ali Zardari is a representative of all federating units of Pakistan and that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is a genuinely federal political party.
He further stated that portraying President Zardari as representing only a single province, language, or ethnic group is contrary to the facts and undermines the spirit of national unity.
The Sindh Home Minister described Miftah Ismail’s allegations as baseless and rejected them in their entirety.
