U.S.–Iran Talks in Switzerland Cancelled

Bern (HRNW): The Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that scheduled talks between the United States and Iran in Burgnestock will no longer take place.

According to the statement, the decision came after the postponement of U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance’s planned departure to Switzerland.

A White House spokesperson said the Vice President is not traveling tonight as planned, but the United States remains hopeful that technical-level talks will begin soon.
