According to the district administration, a curfew has been imposed in Surab from 6:00 p.m. on August 6, 2026, until 6:00 a.m. on August 8, 2026, due to the prevailing security situation. Shops and business centers in the district have also been ordered to close.
The administration has directed citizens to avoid unnecessary movement outside their homes during the curfew hours and to strictly follow security protocols.
The official notification states that those violating the curfew will face legal action under the law. Citizens have also been advised to follow official security instructions to avoid potential harm.
Reports indicate that curfew or movement restrictions have also been imposed in several other parts of Balochistan, including Qalat, Khadkocha in Mastung, Zehri, and Nushki, amid security concerns.
