According to the available province-wise figures:
▪️ Punjab: More than 358,000 students failed
▪️ Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: More than 80,000 students failed
▪️ Sindh: Nearly 51,000 students failed
▪️ Balochistan, Federal Board, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan: Thousands of students also failed to qualify.
Education experts say the high number of failures raises serious questions about the quality of education, teaching standards, curriculum, examination system and students’ preparation.
From a human rights perspective, access to quality and equal education is a fundamental right of every child.
