Islamabad (HRNW) – The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has announced the results of the 2026 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Part I and II (Classes 9 and 10) examinations, with female students securing the majority of the top positions.

According to the Chairman of the Federal Board, 7 out of the top 10 positions in the Class 10 examinations were secured by female students, while no student from a government educational institution was able to secure a position among the top achievers.

The Chairman further stated that 292,831 students appeared in the Class 9 and 10 examinations this year.

He also disclosed that 86 cheating cases were reported during the examination process, adding that appropriate action is being taken in accordance with the Board’s examination rules and regulations.

Education experts say the outstanding performance of female students reflects their growing academic achievements, while the absence of government school students among the top position holders highlights the need for continued improvements in the quality of public education.
