Karachi (HRNW) – The body of 25-year-old Mir Raza Ali, owner of WAFFLIX Bahadurabad, who was allegedly abducted from the jurisdiction of Ferozabad Police Station, has been recovered near Shahi Qila Ground, Block 1 Gulistan-e-Johar, Karachi. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
According to police, the victim was subjected to torture before being shot dead. Authorities stated that Mir Raza Ali had left his home two nights ago after booking an online taxi, following which he went missing.
Police said that an abduction case was registered at Ferozabad Police Station on the complaint of the victim’s father, Mir Hussain Ali, after the family failed to establish contact with him.
According to the family, they are residents of PECHS Society, and Mir Raza Ali was also associated with a business. His father stated that his son returned home from his shop in Bahadurabad and left again saying that he would return within 10 minutes, but he never came back. Repeated attempts to contact him were unsuccessful as his mobile phone remained switched off.
Police have taken the body into custody and shifted it for post-mortem examination. Investigators have started examining different aspects of the murder, including possible motives, evidence collected from the scene, and the circumstances surrounding the alleged abduction.
