Four Pakistan Navy Commodores Promoted to the Rank of Rear Admiral

Islamabad (HRNW) – The Pakistan Navy has promoted four senior Commodores to the rank of Rear Admiral in recognition of their distinguished professional service and outstanding contributions.

According to the Pakistan Navy, Commodore Tasawar Iqbal, Commodore Muhammad Umair, Commodore Shahid Wasif, and Commodore Rao Ahmed Imran Anwar have been elevated to the rank of Rear Admiral.

The Navy stated that all four officers possess extensive command, staff, and training experience and have served in a variety of key operational and administrative appointments throughout their careers.

In recognition of their exceptional services, the officers have previously been awarded several military honors, including the Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Military).

The Pakistan Navy said the promotions reflect the officers’ professionalism, leadership, and dedication, and are expected to further strengthen the Navy’s command structure and operational capabilities.
