Rawalpindi (HRNW) – The Pakistan Army’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), has stated that security forces conducted successful intelligence-based operations in various areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, killing 32 terrorists during the last 24 hours.
According to ISPR, the operations were carried out as part of ongoing efforts against terrorist groups and their facilitators. On the night of 28/29 July 2026, multiple intelligence-based area sanitization and targeted operations were conducted in Khyber District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
During these operations, security forces effectively targeted terrorist hideouts, resulting in the killing of 24 terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Khawarij, according to the statement.
Meanwhile, security forces also conducted intelligence-based operations in Noshki District, Balochistan, where, after an intense exchange of fire, 8 terrorists associated with Fitna al-Hindustan were eliminated.
ISPR stated that weapons, ammunition, and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) used by the terrorists were recovered during the operations and subsequently neutralized.
The statement added that sanitization operations are ongoing to eliminate any remaining terrorists and their facilitators in the areas.
ISPR further said that Pakistan’s security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue their counter-terrorism campaign under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam”, approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, to eliminate the threat of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
