Karachi (HRNW): A Judicial Magistrate in Karachi East has approved the application filed by the family of businessman Mir Ali Raza seeking the exhumation of his body.
The court had previously reserved its verdict after hearing arguments on the application. In its decision, the court granted permission for the exhumation and directed the Secretary of Health to constitute a medical board to oversee the process.
The court further ordered that the exhumation be carried out as soon as possible in accordance with legal and medical procedures.
The medical board is expected to conduct the necessary examinations to assist the ongoing legal process and help establish the facts surrounding the case.
