Karachi: Two Robbers Arrested in Injured Condition After Police Encounter in Shah Latif Town

KARACHI (HRNW): An exchange of fire took place between the Shah Latif Town Police and armed robbers in the Malir district, resulting in the arrest of two suspects in injured condition. According to the Malir Police spokesperson, the encounter occurred near the Gulistan Society railway tracks. Following a shootout, two suspects identified as Mujahid and Wajahat were apprehended with injuries, while their accomplices managed to escape under the cover of gunfire. Police recovered two pistols with ammunition, mobile phones, and cash from the possession of the arrested individuals. The seized weapons are being sent for forensic examination, and the injured suspects have been shifted to the hospital for medical treatment. Legal proceedings against the suspects have been initiated, and their previous criminal records are being verified. Meanwhile, police raids are ongoing to track down and arrest the fleeing accomplices.
